Love Island fans were very surprised when Maya Jama made a cheeky joke about Ciaran Davies on Aftersun.
At the start of the show, Maya (29) was chatting with Amy Hart and Sam Thompson about all the drama from this week’s episodes.
They talked about how Ciaran told Nicole Samuel he loved her. But then, things got wild when Ciaran shared that he had slept with 120 people.
Amy joked, “They only live 20 minutes apart in Wales. What if they go out and all 120 people are at the same club?”
That’s when Maya laughed and said, “Might’ve slept with a cousin. Who knows?… Just joking!”
Fans quickly reacted online. One person posted, “Did Maya really say that?!” Another said, “She’s wild for that cousin joke.”
Someone else added, “I didn’t think of it like that, but Maya kind of had a point.”
Earlier this week, people were also upset with Nicole. When Ciaran told her his body count, she looked shocked and said, “I feel sick.” She didn’t believe the number and thought it was gross, especially since he’s only 21.
One fan wrote, “Nicole is shaming him for no reason.”
Another said, “She’s being too harsh. It’s getting boring seeing her act like this.”
Someone else asked, “Is Nicole just mad and trying to embarrass Ciaran?”
Ciaran’s past has come up a lot on the show. During a truth-or-dare game, he said he had slept with over 100 women. Later, he said that when he was 18, he also slept with a woman who was 40!
That age gap (22 years older) made some viewers say they should “call the police.”
Still, even with all the drama, Ciaran and Nicole seem to be getting closer again.
